Client Assistance ServicesWe do not have scheduled staff onsite at out store to provide assistance for Clothing, Household items or Utility assistance. Assistance requests are on a scheduled basis.
Those is need can leave a message on our Voicemail and their calls will be returned when one of our volunteers are available. Volunteers are not available on a daily basis.
The cities we provide assistance are Auburn, Algona and Pacific. Photo identification and proof of local residence is required.
For utility assistance a shut off, final notice or past due account balance is required. Funds for utility assistance is limited to funds being available.
Assistance is limited to once every 2 years.
Clothing assistance is limited to once every six months.
In addition, to using out Voicemail system those requesting assistance can pick up an application at our store at 717 Auburn Way North.
Store hours to pick up applications are Tuesday-Friday 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Completed applications can be left at our store. Our volunteer will then contact the applicants. Store employees are not able to reply to requests.
Food bag requests can be accepted between Thursday -Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The statistics on the level of poverty in our community are truly sobering. Your help is needed to continue to furnish the vital food, clothing, household needs and emergency help and referral services to families and individual in need. We are able to direct 100% of all cash donation to meeting the needs of the poor, because of our dedicated volunteers.
